I was breezing through the book today when early on in Book 2 (2nd chapter) this phrase was repeated a few times and got me thinking. Was this the inspiration for Vs(original title was 5 against 1 if memory serves) and of course Animal. I know Eddie sometimes takes quotes from books an adds them into songs. There are some other mentions a little later in that chapter as well when he holds his hand up and counts off on his fingers and all that. Anyway, I just thought that I would point that out, it probably doesn't have anything to do with Vs. Or does it?

Book 2(chapter 2)
Priest every night five against one. "Every one at the table laughed. "You understand? Priest every night five against one.
Thats a lovely accent you have. New Jersey?

The first time I physically pulled my hair out was while reading Hemingway. For Whom The Bell Tolls. Horrible.

It was at that point, I started selling drugs.

Now look where it got me...
