A while back did PJ not say alot wouldn't be happening in 2010 due to others things occurring with members of the band? Whether family related or something along those lines? Did they know Soundgarden would be coming back and therefore holding out until late 2010/2011 tour? And maybe Europe didnt suite the plans they have and therefore they are heading back so soon after 2009 shows and planning USA tour after that towards the back end of 2010 or even 2011?

I mean, are the plans to "scrap" a tour which was recently rumoured due to Soundgarden reforming and not having a drummer for a short while... and to let Matt C. be a part of it?!

Or am i just thinking way too much! lol!

Id imagine if a soundgarden reunion was in the works.. the band (as in pearl jam) knew ahead of time. These things just don't happen over night. If anything i think the tour plans were "scrapped" for other reasons. Pearl jam is a pretty well thought out machine these days so i can't see much slipping by them.

But all four members were present at an Oct. 6, 2009 Pearl Jam show in Los Angeles, when Cornell reprised the Temple of the Dog song "Hunger Strike" with the band, and sources say reunion plans began to take shape shortly afterward.
