one more day....

she said "lets take it day by day".

to even repeat the words causes physical pain beyond my ability and limited vocabulary to describe.

so be it.

one more day to wake up next to her
one more day to see her smile
one more day to tell her how much I love her
one more day to look into her big baby seal eyes and lose myself there

please just give me one more day to hear her laugh at something stupid that I say
one more day to dream about our future
one more day to heal our past
one more day to be the best man that I can be, because of her

I ache for just one more day to hear about her bad days and try to make them better
one more day for her to just reach out and place her hand on mine while driving
one more day to feel alive , and loved
one more day to be the man I know that I can be for her.......

please, just one more day....
