  • I agree dude,

I absolutely love u2's music and incredible live show energy. But these statements don't make any sense. Bono should stick to singing.

    Peace
  • Bono's ramblings were sort of idiotic, but then again, so was what the blogger wrote.

Bono may say some out of this world things from time to time but he certainly does a lot of positives outside of MUSIC.

Here he is speaking about the The Top 10 Things For The Next 10 Years

Some of them make sense along with his advocacy group ONE.

  • What Bono is promoting is that more western countries should take after China's "censorship" of the internet. So what's with that. Doesn't that sound like fascism?

Internet is the best tool that humans have received for democracy and he wants the internet to become more "China like" just because technology has now made parts of the music industry obsolete (now I'm talking about distribution etc..). The only way to stop file downloading is to basically control all the internet. Is it worth giving up our human rights to communicate with eachother without having a third party "listening" to or should we satisfy the "corrupt" music industry maffia?

It seems that file sharing is benefiting artists more but for the distributers it's harder and they are losing there power I guess. But that's the thing with technology. With the new technology it alters the business model and the dinosaurs aren't keeping up.

Let's face it copyright laws have to be changed or peoples human rights are going to be screwed. Which one do you.

    Just something related:
