REM -Man on the Moon -Original w/EV?

Been listening to a lot of REM lately and ignorantly just noticed something on the REM Man on the Moon studio record ...is that Eddie in the background of the song? Doing the part he did live at the RRHOF? The "hey ah hey ah...." background during the chorus? If so I never knew he was on that record. If not....the dude sounds just like him!

just listened to this after you posted. While it does sound similar, i dont believe it is him. good catch though!!!

I dont think that part is Stipe, he's on most of the others, but it sounds like the ooooo's in the background of the song and the "hey ah hey ah" are a seperate person
