I just overheard it now. I can't believe I just heard that on TV. I'm not sure if it was a commercial or part of the show on CNN.

    That's a cover song. Was it the WWCversion or the original (Thunderclap Newman)? I'd have to think it was the original, but if the WWC got some airtime, that's great.

    yeah, it's definitely a cover. the original is a fairly well known classic rock tune, and has been used in a bunch of things over the years. pretty sure it was in almost famous.

    edit: just looked at the wikipedia entryfor the song and saw this:
    "Something in the Air" is a song recorded by Thunderclap Newman, a band created by Pete Townshend for The Who's former roadie John 'Speedy' Keen who wrote and sang the song. It was a UK #1 single for three weeks in July 1969. The song has been used for films, television and adverts, and has been covered by several artists.
