if your talking about the 2005 film Directed by Terry Gilliam. then opps. terry gilliam is my favourite director.when he gets it right its a thing or greatness...the fisher king ,12 monkeys brazil, time bandits and fear and loathing plus others are in this group.
when he gets it wrong its can be a long hard watch..i do remember mr gilliam saying at time of release. that this film is going to be a love it or hate it.with out any middle ground for sitting in the middle.
you must be in the love it camp.im affaid am in the other.I remember pre ordering it 5-6 months in advance on dvd.can recall sitting down to watch it and going omg whats he done. After the brothers grimm i hoped for better. As i liked grimm even with all the bad press it got.i tend not to read to much into reviews.
But if you like it then good. it must of touched you inner childs as i also remeber this being the feeling the director was going for.
fingers cross The Man Who Killed Don Quixote will get made this time.<img src="http://i740.photobucket.com/albums/xx46/tremors25/thefixerthrilla1.gif" align="left">

no you got me wrong...i love all the above films .. liked grimm , but just could not get my head around tidelands.the way his films look are like no other director i can remember.
i recall a scene in 12 monkeys taking hours to shoot as he wanted the hampsters in a cage to be runnig on their wheel. who else would go to this sort of lenght..but one or two bad apples in his film collection i can live with.
what are your top 3 gilliam films then<img src="http://i740.photobucket.com/albums/xx46/tremors25/thefixerthrilla1.gif" align="left">

Ah I see, Fear n Loathing has to be 1, Tideland, and Brazil was so way ahead of its time, everytime I watch it I discover something new or previously misunderstood.K. A. D.0
