Soundtrack to my life. Sensitive singer songwriter crafts music that deals with his own apathy, complascency, and self doubt. He describes the pain of growing up in the shadow of a war and world he cant understand. Sound similar folks?

I identify with the words additionally in the sense that you could tell even with Saturate before using, this was a guy who had a social conscience, was politically aware, but also didnt know how to deal with the information he had reguarding the world.

Doctor my eyes-just what I mentioned before, he sees the world as flawed and the world needs change. But what can he do?

These Days-one of my favorites. Describes my life. Written when he was 16! Unreal.

The pretender-one of the reasons I quit my job. I became this character. It scared the hell out of me.

Late for the Sky-brilliantly describes the feeling of having wasted your life. again, this is the story of my life.

Fountain of Sorrow-haunting tune

Before the Deluge-brilliant statement of what happened to the Boomers, our parents

I have a very faint memory of driving to a park from WI to IL in the mid 70's to enjoy an awesome Jackson Browne concert. Just little fragment pictures in my head these memories are now.

Finally, a thread about him! I'm just a casual fan. I think Late For The Sky is one of the best breakup albums ever made.

try one of the best albums ever made, period. I agree the breakup element is there, but I relate to it, strictly on the "confused 20/30 year old" just trying to work things out in the world sense. Its a relateable album period, whatever angle you take on it.
