Screw that! I live in Michigan. Its too cold to go knock on their door! I will bang on the ceiling if they are rudely too loud. They know when they are. They are the ones being rude. So, I can do what I want!
Hell, I don't even live in an apartment, but where I do live, the homes are way too close. I have no issues with calling them on the phone and telling them I cannot hear my TV and all I can hear is theirs!
I also have been known to open my window and yell "shut the hell up".
I play music, quite loud at times, but there is a time and place for everything. At 1 a.m. I don't want to hear the next door neighbor, who's 40, heavy metal music!! I could play the game and drown him out with PJ, but its more polite to tell him to shut the hell up, either by phone or out the window, since he usually can't hear the phone.
Just like when he kept letting his dog shit in my yard. At first, I asked him to stop it. Then, I would just throw it back in his yard. That didn't work. So, then I smeared it on his car's window. No more shit in my yard!!! LOL!

Feral thing. Kept asking them to keep thier cat in at night cos that's what you're supposed to do here. NO luck. Put pepper around the fence line of my house, still didn't work. Then one night we were under the house and it appeared from under one of the cars. It was a pure white cat and the only non cruel thing we could think of doing was to dye it a different colour! So I had some bright blue hair colour and put in a spray bottle, and put a few stripes on the cat and sent it on it's way home. The next day the colour had gone purple and everyone was wondering whodunnit? But the cat never came back...disclaimer: I was 18yo....but it still makes me giggle....as for the poor bin scab!!!! he's another story! LOL

Yep! I took my shovel and picked it up and wiped the shovel across the window. You don't know my neighbor! The old lady is a thief with horrible sons. Her sons are in their 40's. The one son and his wife just went to jail. She is a hooker and they all are heroin addicts. I have even seen the old lady snort heroin. She's 76!
The dog belongs to the hooker, heroin addict. I beg them to take care of their shit. The girl said that she cleans other people's dog shit, so they can clean her dog's shit. No one where I live don't clean up after their pets.
My neighbors are scared of these people. BS!!! I am not at all. I have watched them walk the dog to my yard to shit. I have cleaned it up many times. I used all the avenues I knew, so I finally did the last one and presto...no more dog shit! Tell me another way??!! These people lost their kids. They just don't care about anyone or anything. I don't live in Detroit. I moved away from the city to be away from this stuff. To have heroin addicts and hookers in one house, right next to me, sucks! The other son is a crack head. Nope! I won't let this turn into detroit!
