Any Brendon Benson fans out there?

I got Lapalco for christmas & really like it, it's my first album of his, any suggestions for which album to go for next?

    I've been curious about how his solo stuff sounds. Love him with the Racs.

    Likewise. I saw an album of his the other day and almost picked it up, but chose to buy Them Crooked Vultures instead....I kinda wish that I bought the Benson album...

    If you like the raconteurs I think you'll like it, although it's a bit more mellow, real nice mellodies & great lyrics.

    When I first heard his single I thought it was The Raconteurs. Not sure if he was the primary writer of the band or just using the style, but there was not much difference from his single and the band's sound. I guess I ought to check out some more songs eventually.

    Laplaco is the best in my mind, I'd then go One Mississippi, then his latest, followed by Alternative to Love.

    Im gonna travel to london to see him live 5. march and Dave Matthews Band 6. march. Brendan Bensons last album is good but the Lapalco album is the best in my opinion.

    I've been a fan since Lapalco, love that album. I the Raconteurs a couple of years ago at the Eden sessions, they were great. I'd agree with Brain of mJ on the albums, but Lapalco is my favourite.

    looks like i've started with the best one with lapalco then, gotta say I love it, have to stop myself from playing it too much so i don't tire of it. He's playing Manchester in march too, would love to go but have a baby arriving around that time so girlfriend has banned me from gigs in march & april, fair play. Embargo well & truly lifted for PJ dublin & belfast shows in June though. :D

    I've only heard one song by him solo- Don't Want To Talk- but I really dig it & now will check out more!
