can we all make an agreement.....

to start calling the years twenty ten, twenty eleven, twenty twelve and so forth

rather than two thousand ten, two thousand eleven, two thousand twelve.

Lets just try it out for this decade and see how it goes.

    can we just refer to it as '10, '11, '12, etc...

    I hope that by know we all now that we're in the 21st century...

    If they called it 10-10 - then 20-10 it is.

    If they called it one thousand and ten, then two thousand and ten it is.

    Nah, I cannot agree as "two thousand" rolls off the tongue more easily than "one thousand nine hundred" or "nineteen hundred" ever did.

    Sometimes though I'm sure I'll say "twenty ten" and sometimes I will say "two thousand ten."
