Avenged Sevenfold's drummer James "The Rev" Sullivan died today. Incredibly sad, he was an amazing drummer.

Here's another article on it. I never liked the band but that still sucks. 28 is young. I can only imagine what the band and his family are going through now. :(

I'm the same, never been a fan of the band but this news is incredibly sad. 28 is no age.

My thoughts are with his family, friends and fans.

Yeah, especially considering these guys have been together since their sophomore year in High School, so they've already had about 10 or 12 years of history behind them. It's a damn shame to lose such a talented young drummer.

Saw Avenged Sevenfold supporting Metallica last summer. Truly awful band but there's no doubt that he was a talented drummer. My thoughts are with his family
