Where does Backspacer rank in your albums of the year?

Firstly, this isn't another "Name your top ten albums of 2009" post (there are plenty of them in Other Music). My questions for you are:

a - Does Backspacer make your own Top Ten of 2009 list?
b - If so, where does it rank?

Personally I would place Backspacer as my 4th favourite album of 2009. "Broken" is one of the best albums of the decade and the vinyl tracklisting of "Before The Frost..." is my favourite Crowes album in a long long time. Dan Auerbach and Backspacer are pretty even in my eyes. If they'd been released at the same time I may have played Backspacer all year and ranked it 3rd but Dan just gets ahead.

1. Soulsavers – Broken
2. Black Crowes – Before The Frost… Until The Freeze
3. Dan Auerbach – Keep It Hid
4. Pearl Jam – Backspacer
5. Jack Rose & The Black Twig Pickers
6. Masters of Reality – Pine/Cross Dover
7. Rodrigo y Gabriela – 11:11
8. Powderfinger – Golden Rule
9. Eels – Hombre Lobo
10. Wilco – Wilco (the album)
“Do not postpone happiness”
(Jeff Tweedy, Sydney 2007)

“Put yer good money on the sunrise”
(Tim Rogers)

Not in the top 5 ... I listed those albums in Other Music, Backspacer didn't make the cut.

Probably in the back end of the top ten.
