Somebody Help Me :(

I asked someone to pick me up a 06/30/08 Mansfield II Poster from the sale earlier. They picked one up, then sent me a message saying for me to respond with info on payments and such. However, my computer got destroyed. It completely fried and I just built a new one. Now it seems like this person started a new thread selling the poster he bought for me...saying i ditched him and such. I tried to PM saying i was still interested, but he hasn't responded. I think he sold it fairly quickly.
Is there anyone who could help me out? I feel like i got shafted almost and would just like some help to find this for face value. It was the ONLY show I went...second PJ show ever. (05/25/06 Boston II was my first) Thank you so much.

Thanks, that's really appreciated, but I only want Mansfield II. I only want to get shows that I've been to, just so I won't get obsessed with finding all the posters you know? So that's why I was desperately looking for Mansfield II.
Thank you for your consideration though I really appreciate it

you're too good to be part of the human race
cheers d!
I don't see how you got shafted. Although it's unfortunate that your computer got "destroyed," it's not the other person's fault. In fact, (s)he should be the one feeling shafted -- imagine spending the time/money/effort to pick up a poster for someone else, only to receive no response from that person about payment once you have actually done the kind deed. Wouldn't you be pissed?
And just because YOUR computer fried, couldn't you at least use a public computer or a friend's computer for a few minutes to resolve this situation? I mean, it sounds like the other person went out of his/her way to do this for you out of the kindness of his/her heart.
D is a good guy, and very generous to help you out with this. But be aware that your suggestions in your original post are pretty disrespectful to whoever it was that was just trying to be nice to you.

I completely understand what you're saying. And I would agree with you...however...whoever bought it for me made a thread only about 7 hours after sending me a message. A couple hours seems a pretty short time to determine in your head that Someone ditched out on the sale. And I did send them a message from my dad's computer the same day they made the thread. And no response has been made. that's the only reason I feel kinda shafted.

Aha...I got you...that does make a difference. 7 hours is definitely not enough time.
Congrats on getting hooked up with the poster.
