do you do anything special?

i don't cook, but hubby is a fantastic cook and he makes a mean breakfast. he usually cooks breakfast every sunday, but that's it. so whenever we have time off together...LOVE the special breakfasts!

i think christmas morn shall consist of homemade waffles, blueberries and sausage.
perhaps mimosas? mmmm....there's an idea!

Nope, keep it simple in the morning, cereal, maybe a few eggs, but only because there's usually a big lunch and or dinner plus dessert. Gotta consolidate space so to speak 8-)

    haha, yea. a definite consideration.
we're not heading to my sister's until 2pm tho, so i figure that gives us time for a nice "just us" breakfast.

My grandmother has this breakfast casserole that she's made every Christmas morning for my whole life. She uses crescent rolls (unrolled) as the crust and mixes up sausage (pre-cooked), eggs, cheese, spices, etc. and bakes it. Really good, easy to reheat, and keeps everyone satisfied all day while Christmas dinner is cooking. Mmmm......

OH NO!!! I can remember doing that as a kid as we had to drive 3.5-4hrs to get to the family xmas lunch. Then the one and only one that was opened on the gold coast on xmas closed and we found an awesome roadhouse just over the border to fill up at.

Please never do the maccas again, i'll even offer to feed you if it saves your poor stomach from them! LOL :lol:

My dad always cooks eggs, bacon, and toast.

Nothing really special, but after all the presents are opened he always says the same thing: Okay I'm going back to bed... we say what about breakfast... i'm not cooking this year. He pretends like he isn't going to do it and obviously always does.

It was funny this year because i was shopping wiht him and he asked me what kind of bacon i wanted christmas morning... I was like what you mean you want me to pick out the bacon you are not gonna cook :P
