What I've done/have planned so far:
Them Crooked Vultures on SNL (went to the live taping, 19 hours in line because I couldn't go to the NYC show since I already had Flyers/Devils tickets that night, met Grohl and Homme so I think it was worth it)
Alice in Chains - Borgata Event Center
    Manchester Orchestra/Biffy Clyro/The Features - Trocadero
Coachella (TCV, Faith No More, Florence and the Machine, Muse, Thom Yorke, etc.)
    The Whigs/Band of Skulls/22-20's - Bowery Ballroom
The Whigs/Band of Skulls/22-20's - North Star Bar
Florence and the Machine - Theater of Living Arts
Cage the Elephant - Theater of Living Arts
Mark Knopfler - Tower Theater (looks doubtful now)
    Hopefully:
    Foo Fighters or more TCV
    Tom Petty
The Raconteurs or the White Stripes
Soundgarden whenever they start playing, won't miss them
QOTSA are supposed to tour a re-release of the self-titled, I'll defintely catch that
and if PJ does a 20th anniversary show I'll be there

Also I'm moving to L.A. in April where I hope to build up my west coast resume :D

Haha it really wasn't that much though some good deals the two Whigs shows are only $15 each, Cage the Elephant is only $14, Biffy Clyro was only $20 and TCV on SNL taping was free

Anyone whoever has a chance must check out The Whigs, one of the best rock shows around for the best price around and of course in an intimate venue.

i have every intention of seeing pj at nola, cleveland and indy/buffalo
phish at greek, telly, cuyahoga, merriweather (this tour is sooo much more weekend friendly than pjs :| )

im psyched that i get to take a cool trip for each this year on top of scattered wknds. a couple weddings are keeping me from pj in hartford and phish on the 4th

aside from that i'll try'n see the drive buy truckers, benevento trio, adrian belew, dirty dozen brass band, claypool and petty all here in pgh this late spring/summer. id also like to catch further and might look for'em at allgood.

then theres all the madness i plan to see at jazzfest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

throw in whatever 3 rivers arts fest brings this way and perhaps a trip nelsons ledges (what up ohio folk!?) and it looks to be a full summer! 8-)

edit to add: forgot rollins spoken word!

updated: can no longer do Florence & the Machine or Knopfler (if anyone is interested in the tickets pm me). Hoping to get tickets for Phish at the Greek (should be a special show since it's in a more intimate setting), Petty at the Hollywood Bowl and I'm hearing Taylor Hawkins & the Coattail Riders will do a record-release show at the Troubadour next month for his new album that would be awesome especially since he frequently brings in special guests like Grohl to make the show all the better.

How was the Daltrey/Clapton show? If times weren't so hard I would've seen them in memphis a couple weeks ago.....clapton is my boy. Oh well...I already had tickets purchased to take the little lady to see John Mayer in memphis, which is tomorrow.

So....John Mayer, as of tomorrow, will be the only major artist so far this year
