  • Yeah, you see those up here in all the Newbury Comics. One of those crap jobs. Was this ever a legit poster guys? Or were all these done after the fact to make people feel like it was rare?

P.S. I love the Soundgarden pic on this poster. I always thought Kim Thayl looked like a wookie in this.

That would be a cool show but the Metallica pic gave it away. Looks like one of their pics from their early years with Cliff in there.

Lived in Houston from 1976 to 1994, went just about every major concert that came through during that time, Pearl Jam and Metallica NEVER played together in Houston, the Astro Arena was a venue in Houston that RARELY had concerts performed there, it was mainly used for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Not only that but the venue is/was to small for either band to headline a concert by themselves, much less together!

If they did play together (They didn't) the show would have been at The Summit, Astrodome or Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. I saw this poster once for sale on the internet and emailed them asking if they knew that this concert NEVER took place and I never got a response back. I remember seeing Pat Traver and The Greg Kihn Band there at Rockfest in 1984 or 1985 and remember very few shows there, Nirvana in 1993, Stevie Ray Vaughn and the Fabulous Thunderbirds New Years Eve 1984.

Oh yea, the Pearl Jam/Soundgarden is also FAKE, they didn't play the Astro Arena together in 1993, I don't think Pearl Jam and Soundgarden even toured together in 1993 from what I can remember and also the fact that the Pearl Jam/Metallica and Pearl Jam/Soundgarden both have the same date on them, 7/21/1993 playin at the same venue!!!!!:lol::lol::lol::lol:

FYI...Pearl Jam and Soundgarden did play together in 1993; in August both bands opened up for Neil Young at Exhibition Stadium in Toronto. Eddie sang Outshined with Soundgarden. Great show.

That's GREAT, BUT I said "tour" together, playing one show with Neil Young doesn't equal a tour, I know that they played and toured together before, I just didn't remember them being on tour together in 1993.
