Great setlists. I'm eager to check you guys out sometime.

I do have a question, and I'm in no means trying to be negative...just curious.

Are you just some guys that go out and play PJ songs but it's still your own show, or do you try to mimic everything about PJ? Does the lead singer act like Eddie on stage and give speeches, does the lead guitarist lean back and strike a Mike pose, etc?

Again, in no way do I mean for this to be derogatory. I'm just curious what a show is like.

Either way, I'll be looking for some Kansas City dates!

No, it's quite talented musicians playing tunes they love for fans who love them. They are really good, and the singer is excellent. His voice does not sound like Ed's but not at all in a bad way and I did not notice any attempt at mimicking anything. I loved the fun vibes.

Hated the setlist yesterday though :o
... and the will to show I will always be better than before.

Nah, no flannels, wigs or combat boots either ;-)

We're just a bunch of fans like everyone else having a good time with 400 or so friends every weekend. It has been a great time for past 5 years meeting PJ fans all over the country. We'll see what we can do about KC !

    thanks !

    Hey zeroenvy,

We are working on a Nelson Ledges date right now. We will most likely be there with the "Sounds of Seattle" tour we are doing this year. SOS is Ten, Hungerstike (our Temple of the Dog Show) and great Nirvana band from Chicago called Nevermind.

Keep an eye on the SOS website at http://www.myspace.com/soundsofseattle

    Thanks !

I'm sincerely hoping that my zipper wasn't down or something ;-) Please fill us in .... I do know that somebody had one heck of a joint going most of the show. There was a cloud over the stage most of the night ;-) (whomever that was... thanks for the contact buzz )

And by the way... that "Chris Cornell" guy was incredible. Someone should get him on stage at MSG, he would put Corin Tucker to shame :p

it was the incredibly drunk girl with the curly hair that was flashing the crowd. apparently she didn't want to share the wealth and had her back turned to the stage when she entered my line of vision.

haha - yeah.....he was annoying - he stuck his bands biz card in my jean pocket at least 2 times. i wasn't too happy about that.....
then he said "COME SEE MY BAND" and I said "NO"

interesting night to say the least....

now had I not prevented Sam from stepping in the horse shit while running to the cab, it could have been even more interesting :)

I think that guy was intimidated by my "I don't give a damn about your crappy band" look...

    Thanks Meme,

That is Shane. He is our newest member and one heck of a good dude. It's very cool to have both a Boom and a Cornell in one ;-) We are doing another project with him now doing a TOTD and Soundgarden tribute called Hungerstrike. (http://www.myspace.com/soundsofseattle)

And well.... He will be in town with us on June 24/25, and I am sure he is willing :)

  • Hey Guys, just curious how this set list played at Endicott. Evenflow did that gig until Beav's voice took a shit. Good crowds, but hated the load-ins, though! Given 2 Fly totally supports all PJ Tributes. Peace-Love-Hope.
