Does anyone remember the PJ Flag?

During their 1994 tour, Pearl Jam had a Pearl Jam band flag which they would fly over each venue they played (really!)..

Does anyone recall that some Bastards in Boston (I'm from here too) STOLE the flag during there two date stay at the old Boston garden..?

I remember that a DJ from WBCN helped broker an amnesty return of the band's flag but can't find any reference to these happenings anywhere or a photo of the Pearl Jam flag???..

    yea i remember that thing..they also had a 10c contest a bunch of years ago for a new flag as well

    I must have been too young to remember that (my first PJ show was 1996), but that sounds exactly like something drunk Bostonians would do...Id love to see this too.

    This seems like something they could mass produce and sell in the 10c for say, 20 bucks, right? Id buy one.

    Can we get Betsy Ross to sew us up a new one? I know she's not Ames or Klausen, but she sews a mean flag...this much I know. Does she have a website?

    I think this was the first contest I knew about as an official 10C member. The contest before that (winner announced at time this contest was announced) was basically what you'd do for 24 hours as US President.

    The winning design was a huge-ass Mookie Blaylock jersey that was supposed to fly over the 10C ticket window at shows...large enough to see from a far way away, yet small enough to easily transport.
