Got Engaged on Sunday!

The girlfriend took me to Disneyland for my birthday this past Sunday. Since I knew about it weeks in advance, I thought it would be a good time to propose.

I went out and got the rock, then had to keep it from her for a few weeks.

Once at Disneyland, I lured her to Mickey's house in Toon Town. When it came time for us to have photo taken with Mickey, I knelt down on one (Dis)knee, and proposed. She said yes, and then we posed with Mickey for a bunch of photos.

When we were saying our goodbyes to Mickey, I mentioned to him that if my girlfriend had said "no", I would have gone and asked Minnie to marry me. He was not thrilled!

I realized that Dinsey doesn't really define the relationship between Mickey & Minnie. Each of them have separate houses at Disneyland...I wonder if Mickey sneaks over to Minnie's house after the park closes? Also odd is that fact that both Mickey and Donald have no kids, yet they each have nephews.

    I'm also real impressed with you dudes that get down on one knee to do it. I know that's supposed to be the accepted practice but back in my youth I never knew of it happening. :thumbup:
