    saw this

to me - this movie is about confronting the realities of our lives and who we are and what it is that should define us ... very nice performances from the principal cast - not a huge stretch for clooney here ... well worth a watch but i don't think it deserves the awards type recognition it seems to be getting ...

Vera Farmiga lives by me, same town as Steve Buscemi, Vincent D'onofrio and Melissa Leo. They are all involved in the local film festival. Very nice people and damn fine actors one and all.

I'll definitely be checking this out in the next couple weeks. Clooney is a great actor and Vera Farmiga (no idea how to pronounce that) is HOT!

    far-me-gah

i have always loved clooney as an actor, and farmiga really is growing on me, impressing me more and more with each performance. (and yes, my husband agrees with you ;))

But what's up with the lack of Oscar buzz movies this season?

    seriously.
usually in the autumn there is a plethora of great movies out, so many great choices, lot of buzz. this year, really, nada. been a sucky end of year for film imo.

seriously i have not seen a REALLY good movie in the theatre, for too long now. haven't even gone to the movies nearly as much as usual, b/c there's been fuck-all playing. the ONE film i really wanted to see, a serious man, i was waiting for it to play at our fave theatre...and it never did. so i look forward to up in the air....hope avatar is at least mildly entertaining, or so visually stunning i don't care - since i know hubby will want to see it in the theatre...and i also look forward to it's complicated; don't care, chick flick, whateva...it's written/directed by nora ephron and stars merryl streep....i'm in!

So is being a douche bag, but that doesn't seem to bother you too much.

why would you say something so evil to someone? your class card must have expired, go renew it.

i am the least threatening person on this board, i goof off, don't take it so personal. i thought my post was really harmless. maybe being a politician is going to your head and you think calling someone a name is ok :( . your not in highschool anymore so don't worry me making a humorous comment about something you write is not gonna make the cool kids not like you.

    just relax sir. :)
