How is Pearl Jam NOT on this list!!!

It's amazing that Pearl Jam is considered one of (if not the top) touring act in the world and they didn't even crack the top 50 concert tours of the decade. Is it based on the fact that Pearl Jam doesn't charge as much for tickets compared to all of these other corporate sellout bands on this list?

2. Didn't charge enough (especially in the beginning part of the decade)
There you go.
Years they played less then 15 NA Shows: 2001, 2002, 2004, 2007, 2008 - thats 50% of the years in the decade right there.
What this likely doesn't include is $ paid to individuals/bands for headlining festivals.
SHOW COUNT: (157) 1990's=3, 2000's=53, 2010/20's=97, US=116, CAN=15, Europe=20 ,New Zealand=2, Australia=2
Mexico=1, Colombia=1
Upcoming: Ohana x2 Aucklandx2, Gold Coast, Melbournex2
Definitely a lot of crap on that list... only a few good acts

This list doesnt really surprise me. Most of the artists listed are either artists with VERY overpriced tickets whose individual concerts gross a couple million $ per show: Basically the entire top 10 minus Kenny Chesney. The rest are simply touring machines who tour 50-75 dates per year; year in and year out. they dont take off years like Pearl Jam does - but in the same sense they also release albums on a more frequent basis too so that's why they're touring more often. And you also have to consider that PJ keeps their ticket prices relatively low compared to some of the others. And quite a few of the top 10 of this list also tour stadiums quite often which will boost that gross revenue immensely. Think an 18k seat arena vs. a 65k seat stadium! PJ definitely embarks on massive tours on their album support years but its the gaps in between that are keeping them off this list.

"..That's One Happy Fuckin Ghost.."
“..That came up on the Pillow Case...This is for the Greek, With Our Apologies.....”
put there tickets at 100 a pop and you would see them on that list MAYBE. Look at that list a lot of those are total road dogs. PJ used to do this in the early and mid 90's but they do not any more. Kenny Chesney for example is always on tour it seems.
I have not looked at the list of artists, but let's see how many of them are still touring/together in 20 years time. Very few, I bet. Or they'll break up for years on end and get back together to make some money, like many bands/artists have. PJ are one of the few bands around who havent burnt themselves out and still make superior music to just about anyone else out there.
Barbra Streisand didn't pull in the highest money? :shock:
What's this world coming too! :shock:
