Met Jeff on Saturday night

Here's the story:
A friend of mine and I drove to Missoula from Bozeman for the Montana State vs. University of Montana basketball game on saturday night. And, there he was, in his seat on the floor next to the press table(his regular seat, I'm told). So, the game ended, and my friend and I head out to the parking lot to leave. We hung out at the entrance saying hi to friends and such(me secretly wanting to see Jeff walk out :cool: ). After about 10 minutes; no Jeff... O well.

Then, as we are walking to the car. I heard someone mention the town Big Sandy. I turn around... And there he was! Right behind us!!! I shook his hand, told him how much I loved the band, etc... I asked about any warm up shows in Missoula(Me being selfish). He didn't say yes or no . Also asked about ANY other shows around 'Roo. I mentioned that "I didn't want to go to 'Roo". He said it would be "worth it to spend a week in TN"(his words).

I have a hunch there will be a Ten Club show in the area, but no solid info yet.

so since the folks that have met jeff and mike recently have come out with the specific details of the meetings reguarding touring...will the gent that met matt do the same????

tempting, but need official confirmation.. ACL festival rumours throws a spanner in the works now, as i am looking at going to europe then, so maybe change dates around then, and do that festi.....

it depends on whether Matt told him, but dont say anything... or it's not confirmed so don't spread the word just yet...

Great story, great pic. Man, I really want to meet a band member. I guess living in Chicago makes it tough. I just would love to tell one of them how much their music means to me and have a normal converstion. I don't need autographs etc...though I wouldn't mind a picture.

Same here. I'm pretty embarrassed to say that I'm quite jealous. Try living in England though. There's even less chance of bumping into one of them.
