    Im thinking Christmas Eve is the BIG DAY to buy hats, scarves, and mittens.......right????

    When you have waited till the last fucking minute....and you still have no clue what to get...

    Its a shame that my nieces have hit that age....where all they want is cash.....

    Because there is nothing like going in to Toys R Us on Christmas Eve.....

    Awwww....come on uncle Speedy, you know you want to buy her a car! :lol:

    I love buying stuff for my nephew because I'm just a big kid at heart! But my niece?? Oh god! I am so lost every birthday and christmas! I never have ANY idea of what to get her!

    My plan is to go shopping Wednesday, not AS crazy as christmas eve, but close!

    No one enjoys having to struggle your way through masses of obsessed people who are desperately trying to get their relatives a present because Xmas time is the time you HAVE to think about others ;) It's astounding how people diligently love their family as soon as December starts.....
    And you don't enjoy going into a shop, buying cheesy girl's stuff? ;)

    i've never done last minute christmas shopping, i was usually always working!when i still worked retail, i always loved the male shoppers - always shopped late, always polite, couldn't really give a shit. :P they asked your opinion and valued it, and bought whatever you recommended. :D now overall, the women still took forever and yada yada yada. generalizing of course, but this was my overall experience working many a christmas eve!

    I will have a few things to pick up still on Christmas eve, but for the most part will be done tonight , maybe tomorrow.

    2 years ago on Christmas eve I almost had a nervous breakdown. I had it planned out so well what I was getting the GF, but almost every plan went to shit. so with two hours to go before all the stores closed I still had 350 plus dollars to spend.

    only reason I waited was we were tight that christmas, and had to wait for my check.

    never again will i go through that.

    Can't stand last minute shopping, it get's too stressful, what if I can't find what I want!! Instead on christmas eve, after I've finished work we will be going to see Avatar in 3D then going for something to eat. Nice and relaxing :D

    i love going to the movies...but yes, not when everyone else is all there too. i'll await a matinee, on a monday. :P i'd normally be joining you for eating out christmas eve, but hubby has decided to cook instead! he's an awesome cook and cooks all the time, tho this month we've been getting takeout/eating out like crazy, so i guess it'll be novel to stay home. 8-) definitely no last-minute shopping tho! :lol:

    i like my space...and to put my feet up on the chair in front of me....and i hate hearing people munching away on popcorn/candy, crinkling bags :evil: , talking and/or texting :? ....so yea.......hahaha. our fave theatre is quite comfy, stadium seating and yea....smells ok. :lol:

    I think it might be fun to sit on a bench with an iced coffee and watch the people but I'm done with shopping as of last week.
