I don't know if any of you knew about this band. They are from Winnipeg, but they broke pretty big back in about '95 with the release of their second record, Three Seeds (with singles Letting Time Pass, I'm On Fire, and Rush Hour). Their first two albums, released independently, "Experience is Lost" and "The Blue Meanies" were released under their original name "The Blue Meanies", but they had to change it due to the existence of a band with that name already.
After Three Seeds, they dropped their record label and released Highways independently. They now only play sporadically, but I still think you should check them out. Their live show is killer and is probably what made them so popular.
