Brittany Murphy Dies

Brittany Murphy died early this morning after she went into full cardiac arrest and could not be revived, multiple sources tell TMZ.

She was 32.

A 911 call was made at 8:00 AM from a home in Los Angeles that is listed as belonging to her husband, Simon Monjack, the Los Angeles City Fire Department tells TMZ.

We're told Murphy was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where she was pronounced dead on arrival.

Murphy starred in such films as "Clueless," "8 Mile," and "Don't Say a Word."

    Oh Shit. :shock: She was so beautiful and a great actress. Am I wrong to think that maybe drugs were involved? I mean, how does a relatively healthy young woman die so young? Sorta reminds me of how the whole Heath Ledger story started. Still sad though.

    fuck...really sad. something was definitely up with her though. she had a drug problem or was anorexic. she was really skinny and unhealthy looking in some stuff in which i saw her.

    It's so sad. And even if it was drugs, still so sad, maybe more so, because you always wonder what kind of demons a beautiful and talented young lady might have been dealing with. The holidays are so tough on a person going through a rough time. It's so sad for her family especially I would imagine.

    I think the media is assuming drugs, which it probably is, but I don't think we need to be judgemental about it. I would hope her life wasn't a waste. She might have accidentally overdosed on prescription meds, mixed two bad things together, who knows.. you know if you mix aspirin and alcohol can be a deadly combo... I mean, I have yet to hear she was a crack whore, so I'll reserve my judgement.

    although she was also in an episode of 'parker lewis can't lose' and i loved that show so i probably saw her in that too!! :)
