not from what i've been hearing also, i'm predicting their last show will be at the Tiv, friends fam and limited fan club tickets.

i've heard it from several people inside the band.

U.K tour looks like it's about to be cancelled.

they are still hoping to make a few of the shows, but it depends on when they can get a flight out of Aus. dublin show will almost have to be cancelled. but Qantas aren't having any flights out til tuesday lunch, at the earliest. and that's only if the ash cloud clears soonish, which looks doubtful.

Was really upset to read about the Finger calling it a day. I'm upset I won't get to see them one last time... those of you who get the chance... do it! They're amazing live and it's been a very long time since I've seen them... first saw them in the mud of Alternative Nation @ Eastern Creek Raceway in Sydney, Easter 1995 and then in 1996... it's been a while. I love all their stuff, but Double Allergic will always hold a very special place in my heart.

The good news is that the UK tour hasn't been cancelled, but they have had to postpone it the end of May/start of June. The tickets are still valid and the shows will be at the same venues:

$110, and arena sized shows!!!! they are trying to make as much money as they can out of this

no no VS you misinterpret their intentions. they just want as many people as possible to see them this final tour, so no one will be disappointed for missing out. ;)

though it could be worse they coulda done a hit and run stadium tour.

if they wanted as many people to see them as possible, they would not charge $110 for a ticket.
