Lottery in Tampa seemed to work well

Just want to say that the floor in tampa was rocking pretty damn hard the entire show. Lottery probably had a lot to do this, as the first and second row were moving quite a bit.

Got a front row seat here, the night couldn't have gone any better. I'm still reeling 24 hours later. It's the first show I've ever been able to attend and probably the only one for a long time to come.

There were three or four guys right in front of Mike especially jamming their asses off....it was awesome

Were the 3rd and 4th rows NOT rocking???

I don't get this whole "wow, the lottery made the first two rows rock" thing.

The entire first 20 rows were rocking, as far as I could tell. I don't mind the lottery system giving fans with higher numbers the chance to sit up front, but to assume that the 10C people who would be there if not for the lottery would rock less is kinda dumb, imho.

I'm interested to see how they do the lottery in Mansfield as according to Live Nation Row 2 and Row 10 in the center section are for season ticket holders. And I think 9 and 10 on the sides are also for season ticket holders. You can see the season ticket holder seats on the Live Nation website.

THAT"S ME!!! Front row right in front Mike. UN-FUCK'N-BELIEVABLE! My father used to body-guard for Hendrix & Clapton in NY back in the day, after hearing all the stories I've been obsessed with great guitar play ever since. Thank you 10c, PERFECT TICKET, taking care of the home state people.
So, What you Giving ?........ (Thanks Speedy, Alesek, & Arq+friends)

I suggest you step out on your Porch.

What's even worse is that those tickets were just released last saturday. Someone bought two tickets for $165 and are now trying to sell them for $530 apiece.

Row 9/10 can't all be for season ticket holders because the public were able to purchase them.

The way I see it is there are diff. people in the first two rows every night, many of who have never been that close, whereas before a lot of the same people were up front night after night.
  • We have 2 club tickets for Camden and 2 tickets from Stub Hub. Bought them fairly early and got 19 rows from the stage- VIP. Not too expensive, considering Jimmy Buffett tickets were going for over $150 this weekend. We've never sat this close before and I don't know what the hell VIP means, all I know is that we're freakin stoked to even be going. If the club tickets get upgraded in the lottery, then we'll be sitting in those seats instead. The kids can have the VIP seats. God! I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I will hold the candle until it burns up my arm. I'll keep taking punches until their will grows tired. I will stare the sun down until my eyes go blind. I won't change direction and I won't change my mind.

This stuff cracks me up, is that what you do when you go to a Pearl Jam show...analyze how "rocking" the first two rows are?

    Do you keep notes?

Which show had the least "rocking" first two rows you have ever been too?

What is your rating system to determine when the first two rows are "rocking" and when they are not "rocking"?

    I thought the same thing.

Hell yea, that was us, 2nd row right in front of Mike. We were rockin' out pretty hard. I was next to a pretty hot blonde chick, and the guys behind us were really cool. This show was definitely one of the better I've been to or heard, not just because the seats but because the band and crowd were really into it, and much better setlist than WPB imo. Ed acknowledges the crowd was awesome. Get this bootleg!

Its pretty easy, I basically look with my eyes. If people are visibly showing a reaction to the band, then they are rocking.
