I've been looking at this the past couple of days. Mansfield II is supposedly already sold out, while the Saturday night show has tons of tickets left. I would have figured the Saturday show to be more popular than the Monday one.......what gives?

I'm @ a loss as to why people even care, go to the shows you have tickets to and have a good time, don't worry about stuff you have no control over. It looks like you live in Pa. anyway, I live in Texas and I'm going to MSG, Hartford and Mansfield, but I'm not worried about how any of the shows are selling, because I'm going no matter what.

I have better more important things to worry about in my life......

    1. it was just an observation
    2. I'm not saying it won't sell out eventually, I just don't get how the second show sold out so much faster.
    3. i already have tickets to both shows.

Now if Eddie were to really act like Eddie he would make the first Mansfield show amazing (Breath, Who You Are, Evacuation, Wash, etc.) and the second one more average just to spite the "tomorrow people." ;)
I pledge to you a government that will not only work well, but wisely, its ability to act tempered by prudence, and its willingness to do good, balanced by the knowledge that government is never more dangerous than when our desire to have it help us blinds us to its great power to harm us.

    2. The second show was announced first so people jumped on those faster I'm sure.

3.You have tickets so enjoy the shows, if there aren't as many people there the first night, just be glad there will be less traffic and more room to move around inside at the show.

Last I saw for night 1, the only tickets left if you wanted 2 tix were in row W of the lawn 'seats' which are essentially the 3rd row from the end.

    That just can't be true.

Everyone knows the shows in the Northeast sell out so fast that it causes a rip in the time/space continuum.

once they hit the stage and the place is full, which it inevitabely will be for both shows, it won't matter to anybody how many seats were left at the end of April
    2004: Boston II

2006: Hartford, Boston I, Boston II

2008: Hartford, Mansfield I, Mansfield II

There are no rows in the lawn they are general admission

You hit it right on the nose there. Thats exctly why the second show in Mansfields sold out and there are still tix for the first (but added second) show. Plus isn't June 30th the anneversary of that Rockslide Show were all those people got trampled and died. It wouldnt suprise me to hear love boat captain at that show and maybe a new song or 2 if they dont unveil any new material earlier in the tour. I'd be very surprised if the June 30th show isn't something special. Yet again what pearl jam show isnt something special.

Wrong. That is how the venue used to be. Now there is a tiny strip of lawn left and that is it. They added actual seats on the lawn, and call them lawn seats so they can charge more. This happened a few summers ago.

WRONG. Lawn seats are general admission. The open air reserved seats are the newly added(several years ago) seats that took over 3/4 of the lawn so the tweeter center could make some more money on uncovered seats as oppsed to an all GA lawn

jesus... if you read the original post of this topic, you can see the guy said there were no SEATS ON THE LAWN, which there are. Open air seats. You are picking a fight over semantics.

Well, at the time of my post, Ticketmaster was stating no tickets available for Mansfield II. As of right now, they have folding chair seats available outside of the pavilion. I have no clue about lawn seating though.
