a thin ribbon of cloud reached down...lifted her as she picked shards of glass from her heart
brought her to the moon..."you lie" she said..."I will not listen"
then carried her to the sun..."laugh if you must" she said..."you can hurt me no more"
she knew in her heart she was wrong...the pain would never end...
the cloud enveloped her...hugged her...comforted...
engulfed her in a chrysalis... no one could touch her...
no one could hurt her...love her...
placed her on the sea...to rock in her cradle...alone...
