I just can't get into these guys. I kind of see why they are so popular but it is not for me. I don't know what the love fest is.
5. Baroness - Blue Record
This shit is the real deal bitches! This was my number one best album of the year. Fucking killer shit.
7. Sunn O))) - Monoliths & Dimensions
Very similar to animal collective i see why some could get into it but i just don't connect. not my thing
9. The Antlers - Hospice
I liked this one a lot. I actually ranked it as my 10th fav album. A bit of a downer but good stuff
10. Grizzly Bear - Veckatimest
Loved this album. So many good songs. So simple yet complex. I ranked it 3rd on my list
27. Japandroids - Post-Nothing

noy really, live albums of classic artists are always universally well reviewed by critics.
6/12/08 - Tampa, FL
8/23/09 - Chicago, IL
9/28/09 - Salt Lake City, UT (11 years too long!!!)
9/03/11 - East Troy, WI - PJ20 - Night 1
9/04/11 - East Troy, WI - PJ20 - Night 2
yeah I get that, its just that I expect live albums to be excluded from lists like this. i wouldnt include a greatest hits in a best of, so why a live album? its essentially a mix of old songs.
