Mister Magoo's Christmas Carol (really) and Rudolph and Charlie Brown
The Alastair Sim Christmas Carol
It's a Wonderful Life
Comfort and Joy, the Bill Forsyth film
Rudolf
A Christmas Story
Home Alone II (I don't know why I prefer this to Home Alone I... but that Pizza scene in the limo always makes me want pizza, and the cookie scene when he grabs all the cookies when fleeing the hotel, it always makes me want cookies!)
Nightmare Before Christmas (can be Halloween or Christmas )
Love Actually
et with my nephew
and its not the same unless his lil belly is a pot filled with food and hes got chocolate smeared on his face and fast asleep by the end of the movie
makes much more sense to live in the present tense
'I want to hurry home to you
put on a slow, dumb show for you
and crack you up
so you can put a blue ribbon on my brain
god I'm very, very frightening
and I'll overdo it'

I'll never forget TBS The Super Station would alway's play A Christmas Story every Christmas Day on repeat. It's been 2 year's now that the channel changed to Peach TV. Since then they don't show that film anymore.
Thank god for torrents & data dvdrs. Got all these & 50 other Christmas film's on data dvdr's playing around the clock when the relatives are over on various rooms. Gotta love commerical free!
It's a wonderful life... Always gets me misty, don't know why...
And A Christmas Carol, the 1950's one with Alistair Sims
These are my favorites as well. I was asking the 20 somethings at work yesterday about It's A Wonderful Life and not a one of them had even heard of it. Great movie even if it's not Christmas.
Christmas morning we will be watching Christmastime In South Park a collection of 5 Christmas episodes.
It was 109 in Sacramento where I was today and you guys are talking Christmas movies!
Ironically there are a number of them that came out far away from it in theaters.
Gremlins - Originally supposed to be out in Xmas 84 but Warner was optimistic about it doing good in the summer. Die Hard 1 and 2 The Ref Lethal Weapon Trading Places Batman Returns
Die Hard is on right now on the Independent Film Channel
Another cable channel that has sadly lost its identity. It's only worth watching if it's on HBO or Starz since they both play older Fox movies and HBO plays new ones. I actually saw it on Starz last Xmas as well.
I just got it on iTunes recently through Fox's Movie Of The Day app.

And Little Women. The one with the feisty June Allyson.
Also, the thirtysomething ep about Christmas and Hannukah. Absolutely beautiful and tear-inducing.
