Christmas Presents For Women

I need to buy a Christmas present for a 20 something year old woman and I have no clue what to buy. We're just friends right now but it could turn out to be more further down the road (I hope). I've only known her for a couple months. I'm looking for some good ideas...don't hold back! :D

    Price range? A little something about her? What does she like?

    I'd suggest something for the tho of you to do together. Tickets to a concert/play/sporting event perhaps? (you know, as just friends)

    I agree with this post. But may I suggest you stay away from sporting events and certain concerts (think of what she would want To see. You may have to take one for the team and see something that you're not really into)

    also, If you're around a big city take her out for a Saturday. Leave early in the am and go to an afternoon show of some sorts or a museam (if she's into that) and take Her to a late lunch/early dinner...

    I like the idea of taking her to do something together - something that she loves. I love animals - the best gift I ever received was when my husband got a special pass to take me to the zoo that let me feed and care for the animals. Best gift ever! Find out what she loves and arrange something around that.

    I hate cologne and perfume. It's fake. Its too much. Unless you need to hide up some foul oder, I wouldn't recommend it. Worst is old lady prefume on an elevator.

    Not sure about a present, but a home made card will help. Even if it's shit and you've got no talent, She will be like 'awwww, isn't he cute, and thoughtful'

    Well, if you really want to show her you're interested, I would suggest learning exactly how old she is. ;)

    And I agree that perfume is a bad idea. And don't get her anything sexual, like crotchless panties with a picture of your "gift" inside.

    Personally, I really like flowers - but I guess it depends on what kind of message you're trying to send. But if you get her flowers, put some effort into finding out what her favorites are and be sure to get those.

    If it's not about the message/game, I think what you get her should just be something you happen across that makes you think of her or that you're inspired to get because you think she'll like. In that case, we would be the wrong people to ask because we don't know her and her interests. Get to know her yourself and show that you're paying attention by getting something YOU (not us) know she woud like.

    Also - is this gift unsolicited? Did you draw her name in a white elephant gift exchange or something? Do you know whether or not she's getting you a gift or if she'll feel comfortable with you getting her one? I wouldn't make it anything too big if you've only known her a couple of months.

    I like the idea of tickets to do something together, like go to a play. (I'd be super-impressed if a guy took me to a play. A guy just agreeing to go to a musical with me once tipped our relationship from frienship to something more romantic. Well, the show and the nice massage.) Anyway.... I think this is what my friend would call TMI. :oops:
