Given that the Vatican is an independent country, can these priests and nuns claim diplomatic immunity for the crimes they have committed. Its fine and well that the Pope is distressed over the widespread criminal activities of his representatives, but is it enough? The Murphy Report is just a small representation of the crimes committed under the veil of the Catholic church on a worldwide scale.
As an independent country, could not the Vatican be held accountable for crimes against humanity?
As an independent country, that knowingly harbored or continues to harbor persons who have committed crimes, could not the Vatican be held accountable for crimes against humanity?
As an independent country, doesn't any other country have the right to expel the people who operate these facilities?

SIN EATERS--We take the moral excrement we find in this equation and we bury it down deep inside of us so that the rest of our case can stay pure. That is the job. We are morally indefensible and absolutely necessary.
