I think it may mean that Jeremy bit the boob of the lady assigned to watch the school kids play at recess.
I smile, but who am I kidding...

    no it's not.

Jeremy is a kid, a troubled one at that. some kids bite.

    nothing kinky about it. :?

  • I've always thought Jeremy was one of the easier songs to interpret and this line makes perfect sense in the context of the song.

yup, I think the lyrics are pretty straight-forward.

  • I think we can safely assume it is a metaphor along the lines of biting the hand that feeds you...

I knew it was bread in the first verse but on every other lyric site is says breast not bread for the last verse....It doesn't even have that bit of the song on the lyrics on this site so dunno? weird anyway :D

and we all know that every other lyric site is 100% correct, 100% of the time.

not trying to be an ass. :D actually, I had to listen to the song just now. I guess the last time it could sound like 'breast'.

Exactly.... Don't you remember being in elementary school? The lady that watched you at recess was always the most worthless uneducated idiot you ever met. She was only given a job at the school because her grandpa was the principal or something. And she was always meaner than a rattlesnake. She probably had the bite on the breast coming to her.
