ten club ticket pair for Dublin O2 arena

Ciao,
I just received the confirmation of my Dublin tickets purchase from 10c, but I am not sure it will be possible for me to get to Ireland anymore. Does anybody of you knows if it is possible to transfer somehow to someone the tix, of course with at the same price??? According to 10c communication, exchanges, refunds, or transfers are not possible and it seems that I must be there in order to show photo identification to collect purchased tickets.
Thanx for your help,
Fabrizio

He would still need to be there to pick them up from the venue, which it sounds like he can't. In this case, I'm afraid the tickets simply go to waste, and the money's lost.

Two beautiful virgin 10C tickets down the drain.

I know for a fact that they used to allow it, I only got the Dublin show in 2006 because of a transfer from another member who wasn't able to go.
2007 - London
2009 - London, Manchester, London
2010 - Dublin, Belfast, London
2011 - Alpine Valley x2
2012 - Isle of Wight, Manchester x2
All they gotta do is change the persons name but my guess its only cos they are trying to fight touts?
If the transfer is between 2 paid up members of the fanclub who have both agreed on the transfer, I can't think of any reason why 10c won't do it. All they need to do is refund the original buyer and ask the new buyer to phone up to make payment. I don't get it.
Anything could happen in 6 months, I'm sure Fabrizio won't be the only person with 10c tickets to these shows who won't be able to go after all. All they'll be is up to $200 lighter in the pocket, which takes the piss.
well with pearl jam ticket 25 bucks to be a 'registered member' is a small price to pay with the amount of tickets you could buy and then sell + tour at the shows...

I'm sure it's more of an admin thing than anything else. If they allowed people to chop and change what shows they wanted to go to, it would increase their workload significantly. It is stated that "- All ticket sales are final. No refunds. No transfers. No exchanges" in the mails from 10c.
Don't think they can make it any clearer than that! If you think you can't go, don't buy the tickets! It is a pain but I get their reasons for doing it.

They used to, but I guess people started to take the piss. What was 'exceptional' seemed to be deemed the norm. I'm sure that in very exceptional circumstances, the 10C would still do it. But buying your tickets and a couple of days deciding that, after all, you can't do it... hmmmmm.......
I agree with the above quote, if we could all get tickets then get refunds and exchanges we would all be trying for all tickets and then getting refunds/transfers on the ones we could not do.
I understand the 10c position on this but as we pay a fee for the fan club a little flexibility wouldn't go amiss.
The transfer of tickets is an admin task. Why can't the 10c have a cut off date and if you can't go to a show then let the 10c know they then put all available tickets back on sale. If the tickets are sold you get refunded. Then there is no way touts can abuse the 10c allocation.
It's very frustrating and expensive when you are left with tickets worth £100 that you can't do a thing with. The bizarre thing is if you bought public sale tickets you could do what ever you want with them. You are almost penalised for being a fan club member in this situation. When buying tickets months in advance you never know how your circumstances might change as the gig approaches.
