Why no 10c tickets sales for festivals?

Hello,

I'm very happy to see Pearl Jam again next year in Europe. But I was wondering why 10c isn't selling front-row tickets for the festivals if there are front-row tickets available? If I check the Rock In Park Festival site than they sell front row tickets (Ticket de Luxe) for 100 euro more than the normal tickets. Isn't this kind of fan rip off :twisted: :evil: the reason why Pearl Jam started selling tickets :?: :?: :?: :?: :?:

    And what about the other bands playing the festivals? Do they get to sell front row tickets too?

    i'd imagine they festival organisers dont allow any band playin to sell their own tix as then every other band there may want to do the same.

    you get there early.

    not sure about those festivals but at bonaroo they woudl empty the "pit" between bands so that you couldn't camp out there all day for all the shows.

    You didn't answer my question, its a festival, its GA there are no rows or anything.. how do you get a front row ticket? does a security guard escort you to the rail or something?

    what was the question??? how do you get a front row ticket....well assuming they actually sell them, you buy one. if they don't sell them and it's full general admission, you get there early.

    Imagine band's like Gwar are guests on the same bill Pearl Jam are on those festival show's. You will never want to be in the front row. Plus, just cause Pearl Jam is playing @ a festival, doesn't mean you will alway's get front row.

    I am pretty surprised & amazed seeing friends getting up close to the rails to every single festival show where Pearl Jam play's. Not for nothing but if Britney Spears & Justin Bieber were on the same stage Pearl Jam will be playing that same night, fan's would scratch & push their way to the front. You better be wearing a full body mummy cast if you wanna be all day up front from morning to night to see Pearl Jam's act, that's for sure.

    Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

    ... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.
