John Mayer - Betterman
Yeah I know a lot of people here hate him but anyway I think some will enjoy this.
John Mayer doing a clinic at his former music school - talking about inspiration and then "One of the greatest melodies i`ve ever heard...." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UpVhqXUFYUw
He`s so right!

Totally agree easties, tots.
İf you want to see some of the most amazing guitar work ever witnessed, look no further than his Blu Ray that he has out...Where the Light Shines or something like that.
Then, skip to his Hendrix cover of Wait Until Tomorrow...his solo at the end is truly mind-blowing. John Mayer is a rare talent...the guitar is truly a part of his body and you could put him up there with the greats in terms of ability. İf only he could do more of his blues and less of his pop!
i don't think he went to Juliard, but i know he went to Berklee College of Music. the guy can flat-out play....i'm not a huge fan of his music, though...except for that trio record...that's not too shabby.

Great find. John is actually an extremely talented person, especially from what I've seen of him playing live concerts on tv. I think by the end of his career, he'll be more respected than now.
