Anyone a fan? Time the Revelator is such a mindblowing song. It creates such a haunting atmosphere.

    she's great...we saw her at ACL in 2008 & she was amazing. thanks for the reminder---i needed to grab a couple of cds for my wife for Christmas!

    Goddess. David Rawlings...God. Time (The Revelator) is my Album of the Decade, and one of my favorite albums ever. They are absolutely brilliant live. Seriously, I have no words for my love of Gillian & David.

    Gillian (And Dave) are great. Search out Dave's new album - Dave Rawlings Machine ~ Friend of a Friend, Gillian sings backup.

    itunes has a "black star" EP, which has Gillian doing a beautiful cover of Radiohead's Black Star, Neil Youngs Pocohantas, and Townes Van Zandts White Freightliner Blues. If anything, look for the Radiohead cover.

    I, too, am a huge fan of Gillian and David, especially the Time album. Not only is the album lyrically and musically beautiful to listen to, it's also a great album for guitarists to play along with. I could put Revelator and I Dream a Highway on repeat indefinitely, and play leads and fills on my acoustic guitar for hours on end. I really admire David's style.
