So I was just checking the temperature for where I'll be spending Christmas, and right now it's -51 C or -60 F :? :shock: The in-laws better cancel Christmas if it doesn't warm up, cause I'm not going if it stays that fucking cold. :x :x :x

They were saying Tuesday was supposed to be the coldest day of this cold snap....too scared to check the forecast.
The best part? I got to spend the whole weekend outside.
Spent saturday moving, and I was supposed to get my christmas shopping done yesterday. Instead I woke up on the opposite side of town with a frozen car and spent the whole bloody day trying to start it. I seriously don't remember it being this cold, ever.

^^^ I know exactly what you're talking about with the severe cold and the nostrils- we get it like that in upstate NY. Also the glasses fogging up the minute you get back in the house. The doors of your car not closing properly. The brakes being frozen for a few seconds after you start the vehicle. The house creaking oddly. I left my damn gloves at the fitness center when I left, so now I have to pump gas later with no gloves on.

On this past Sunday after leaving Palm Beach, Florida I had to stop in Jacksonville, FL for gas. It was 5:28 am and it was 28 degrees WITHOUT a windchill. It was so windy I gas up inside my truck. I don't know if it was the shock that I was in Florida and it was that cold but it was fricking cold. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrfreezing cold!
