i dunno man... but this certainly has my eyebrows raised. i think maybe pearl jam is making up for all that money they lost from withdrawing itself from the mainstream in the 90's.

say it ain't so. eh whatever. not to be disgusting, but i'd sell my fingernails if people would buy them. just putting it in a ... gross perspective. :)

People have been requesting them for years. I have no use for the baby clothes but the lighter is awesome. :)

I don't get the whole lighter thing... at all.

Hell I still don't get the poster thing. Big freakin deal- just buy the book. A piece of paper shouldn't cost $100 plus unless its a classic artist.

Oh it's a mystery to me.
We have a greed, with which we have agreed...
and you think you have to want more than you need...
until you have it all, you won't be free.

    Society, you're a crazy breed.
I hope you're not lonely, without me.

When you want more than you have, you think you need...
and when you think more then you want, your thoughts begin to bleed.
I think I need to find a bigger place...
cause when you have more than you think, you need more space.

    Society, you're a crazy breed.
I hope you're not lonely, without me.
    Society, crazy indeed...
I hope you're not lonely, without me.

There's those thinkin' more or less, less is more,
but if less is more, how you keepin' score?
It means for every point you make, your level drops.
Kinda like you're startin' from the top...
    and you can't do that.

    Society, you're a crazy breed.
I hope you're not lonely, without me.
    Society, crazy indeed...
I hope you're not lonely, without me
    Society, have mercy on me.
I hope you're not angry, if I disagree.
    Society, crazy indeed.
    I hope you're not lonely...
    without me.

I haven't had a zippo in years and forgot how great they are. Besides actually being cheaper in the long run and keeping trash out of the landfill, they are great in the wind. My lighter was the only one that worked a week ago when it was breezy! I really am loving mine. :)

I ordered the shit out of the baby clothes. Ever since we found out we were having a little girl, people have been buying her all kinds of girly things. I think it's important she wear something that is a reflection of me ... at least, while I still have the power to dress her.

My little girl is going to rock the hell out of the black skull onesie.

  • I'm with the last poster on the baby clothes. My 7 week old boy will dig it in his PJ onesie. You see, when you have a kid everyone insists on getting them cute gear with rainbows and unicorns. A $40 lighter is a bit much but a rockin baby outfit is cool...

Anyone remember the 'Pearl Jam Aquarium Worm Feeder' that was in that little paper letter you got when you joined? It was back in 1994(?) maybe. There were also Sheboygan Moccassins and golf club covers and other wierd shit.
If I can dig up that old order sheet... I'll try posting it.

i think it's nice that they have the baby clothes... and i grew up on pearl jam, and all my friends have kids, and although i don't want any of my own, but if i would have i'd be stoked dressing my kids with these clothes, and they (pearl jam) have kids... so i really don't see what's the problem.. and if i'd use a lighter i'd buy one of those.
so people were complaining that they weren't able to get a lighter at the concerts.. or they didn't get to go to one.. and now someone is complaining that they are selling things that people were complaining they couldn't get... probably it's because i'm drunk and it's 5am but i really don't get what the complaining is about

Yup. The way i see it... if I don't want the stuff they're selling... I don't buy it.
I wanted a lighter, but didn't want to hassle with the Merch Table Mosh Pit. I was glad to hear it when they popped up on the Ten Club Goods page.
    ...
P.S. I do use the lighter because it's a Zippo... and I love Zippo Lighters.

I would love me some pajamas!

I'm concerned about the merch on Wednesday on one hand Im hoping they have hoodies like on 06 because I LOVE my hoodies... but then on the other hand I'm hoping they don't so I dont have to spend $85 on a hoodie...

I'm already expecting for the poster to be $40 like the EV posters and not $25 anymore... so at 3 shows this tour I'm expecting to spend at least $120 in posters plus whatever else I spend in t-shirts ....
