does anyone know when they announce the lineup? and how much more expensive tickets will get, because me and my friend want to go but he wont commit until they announce the lineup and I don'y plan on doing this solo.

    If I remember correctly, lineups are announced in February, and tickets will probably go for about $250. My advice: wait until April or so and then volunteer to work the festival. I went in 2008 and didn't work, and then I worked it last year, and I totally recommend working it. Free ticket, 3 free meals, beat the traffic getting in, and the work is cake.

    If you're REALLY tied up on cash I might suggest working it BUT it isnt all that great if you want to catch a lot of shows. Your experience might be different than the ones I am familiar with but most workers work 12hrs on 12 off. Which means half the day will be spent WORKING and not ROCKING!!!

    However, he is correct that it is a free ticket, meals, and lodging. Line-up is announced in February.
