Inspired by the I Got Shit/Long Road thread. Here's another poll about two tunes that go together.

I vote SOLAT. I think I may have liked Breath a little more in the late 90's when it was like the holy grail of PJ songs. But if I could only have one, it would be SOLAT.

    Alright then...I´ve listened to Breath from Pistoia ´06 this afternoon and it is awesome...
    But SOLAT gets the vote.

    Ten years ago I would have said SOLAT, but just based on the many times it's been played live, Breath has become more interesting to me. It's played so rarely that I usually just have to go back to the studio recording. When I saw night's 3-4 in LA, Breath was high on my list of songs to hear.

    Breath. I can only presume the reason they don't play it so often is because it's kind of struck from the same cloth as Alive.

    i say SOLAT...Breath is so special of a song it's best in small doses...it keeps my interest in a song which allows me to enjoy it everytime i hear it...i feel that if i heard Breath too much i'd get a little sick of it...i listen to it sparingly as to not spoil it...so if i had to chose, i chose SOLAT cause it's a great song...i save Breath for a special occasion

    But to be honest, they're very close. These are actually probably 2 of my 10 favorite songs in their entire catalog. If they would have taken some of their unreleased (or released on a soundtrack) songs from that era (breath, state of love and trust, yellow led, brother, footsteps, just a girl), those songs had the quality to be another multi-platinum album IMO.
