Question about festival tickets euro tour

If PJ are playing London hyde park calling - a three day festival from what I gather - will us fans have to buy a three-day ticket? Or can you buy tickets just for their show, or for the day itself? I'm not sure I want to spend three days at a classic rock festival because I'd just want to see pearl jam.

What is the pre-sale for - tickets just for their set or for the whole festival??

  • Just what I was thinking. Rest of the weekend would be a bit of a letdown, I reckon.

Same goes for Arras and ... er the Belgian one.

Wechter sells daytickets too. Last year 75,= euro's a ticket.

Yes you can buy 1 day tickets for most festivals, HRC included from what I heard about Neil Young last year!

Don't worry, they will only be day tickets for Hard Rock Calling. I would imagine the same for all the other festivals, apart from Glastonbury if they are booked for that on the 26th (which is highly unlikely).

I really hope they do get booked for Glastonbury as I've already bought my ticket. Gutted PJ's only England date clashes.
  • It's a bit of a misnomer to call HRC a festival as there's no camping or any of the normal fun & frolics associated with festivals. It's basically three afternoons/evenings of music where everyone goes home at night.

The good thing about that its you can pick and chose your days. (In the past couple of years we did Counting Crows, Bruce and Neil Young) and don't get too bogged down with watching bands your not bothered about.

I am really interested to see who else will be on this bill. Previous supports have been a bit of a letdown (apologies to all Dave Matthews Band and Ben Harper Fans!).

Alice in Chains Back together so could that be a possibility. Lets all petition for Screaming Trees reunion and then have Them Crooked Vulture as immediate support. Now that's a line up!!

Fairly obvious what you'd pick and choose there! And what you wouldn't...

    11: San José
12: Isle of Wight, Copenhagen, Ed in Manchester & London x2
  • Thanks guys. My mate, has 02 and we got our tickets online tonight. Now for some more shows.... ;)
  • Any guesses on the July 6th and 9th shows? Spain? How long do they typically play at Festivals?
