    Does anyone ACTUALLY.....*** C A R E *** :P :P :P
  • i am kind of suprised that its hanging around. its beating a lot of rock records anyway.
  • Care? i wouldn't lose sleep.... but it's interesting to see. I'm sure the band is happy. It's a sign of success, which is good. do you want the band to do poorly? -and possibly not be able to make music? I doubt that

I do too, but its also awesome to see them having success with the non-crazies (us). 8-)

Pearl Jam should be the biggest band in the world and that shouldn't make them any less cool.
  • I think the Black Friday sale at Target worked.
I bought a copy as an X-Mas gift.

Well, Backspacer's one week jump up the charts was pretty much only due to the 2-day after-Thanksgiving sale at Target that had the CD priced at $6.50. It fell from #45 to #134 this week! From what I've gathered, looks like over a 60% drop in sales numbers in one week.

Many people were wanting to attribute the spike last week to "Just Breathe" gaining popularity. "Just Breathe" seems to be doing decent on the charts, but I say there's no way that it becomes a major hit as some have predicted. I hope Backspacer has a few more days before X-mas with a big sale price at Target... that's the only way this things going to get to 500,000.

You realize that the album isn't going to be pulled from shelves on December 31, right? The album will probably eventually sell 500,000 copies.
I gather speed from you fucking with me.
