I would've loved to see PJ make a more progressive, complex album after Binaural's spacey sound. More complex time signatures, longer songs...with Matt at the skins, and his penchant for odd-time, it would've been a worthy experiment.
Thanks EPOTTSIII!

Sounds good to me.....except for one thing:
"Now that we're putting out a record on our own, we're taking on the responsibility of sinking or swimming ourselves. If that means writing a song that sounds like a mainstream radio hit, we're going to do that."

Ah what a great audience. You guys have been great.
Anyway, everything you need to know about time signatures is on the wiki page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Time_signature. 4/4 is "common time" which most of the music you or I would listen to is in. But Matt is sort of renowned for playing 7/4 because that's the meter that some Soundgarden songs are in.

But as you know they never make the same sounding album twice....
A jamming rocking mindblowing Mike McCready soloing kind of record.
