    My favorite Pearl Jam album. Love the dark tone and Eddie's angry/agitated/depressed level was at it's all time high. I love the packaging with the liner notes(I've actually sought out the actual Vitalogy book and it's kinda interesting), the vinyl theme, Stupid Mop, everything. A rock masterpiece.

    A record that pretty much helped me out during a tough & rough stage in my life I had back then.
    I remembered picking up the vinyl from Sam The Record Man in Halifax a week before the Official release. Didn't even know about it till I heard the Betterman single was played on CKDU Dalhousie radio.
    Called up for more info, found out I could buy it already on LP. Sweet!

    I can't believe it's been 15 years since Vitalogy came out. And it's amazing to compare where the band is at now compared to back then. Back then, they were in complete disarray: Cobain's death, firing Dave, trying to tour without ticketmaster, Mike struggling with drugs, etc. But now, they're a rock institution not much unlike Aerosmith or Kiss or any rock giant who has endured the test of time.

    Vitalogy will always be my favourite PJ record. My first show was from this record & this was their finest moment. The aggressive nature of Vitalogy did sound like there were issues surrounding the band. But if theses things weren't present they maybe would not be around today. The simplistic art work is great, i still have my t shirt & is a bit rough around the edges just like the record. My best bit is the come down at the end of Not For You after all the madness it so calm. I was initally hooked on Whipping & Immortality. I will play it tomorrow.
