No, no, just that since Australia is much, much close to Japan than the U.S. is, I figured that you (as in Australians) had much more exposure to Japanese culture than people here in the U.S.
as a little sidenote: this bit in the text "At the top of their bad manners list is dumping someone by text message." my jaw dropped when I recently heard that one of my coworkers had told our boss she was quitting via - you got it - text message. talk about not having a backbone. :roll:
she's now re-hired so I guess our boss has no backbone either. sheesh.
oh and I'd heard about the guy marrying the vidja game character too. for some reason, I wasn't the least bit shocked.
