am i the only one????

so i've never been a springsteen fan. but after the rock&roll hof show my feelings have just been solidified. I hate this guy. can anyone possibly contort their facial expressions and groan as much as this guy? all i can hope is that he was better in his younger years. I've never looked forward to the mtv music awards but i'm looking forward to andy samburg. granted i'm watching re-runs of both (and im a bit tipsy) but damn! sorry, i'm not usually the one to bash, but i was just wondering who's with me???? hope this post doesnt offend anyone.

I have both originals of these acoustic, but Holy Sh*t was this amazing. Just trying to give a live taste of his show outside VH1 or MTV. Music seems second best to non -existent to those stations now. :(
I have the same feeling about U2, maybe a live show is in store someday. Like a handful of songs but don't get the whole obsession for his band.

nice try but no. i can appreciate his effort and all, but its not my cup o tea.
I saw him live, at Giants Stadium no less, and it didn't really move me. "Jungle Land" was incredible, but it's incredible anyway.
I certainly don't hate Bruce. In fact, I think he can be brilliant, but generally, he doesn't interest me.
What's hard is that I have to hide it, as one of my best friends is a Springsteen nutter.
I'm completely with you. I don't hate him but don't like his music in the slightest. I really really want to and I've tried but can't. I find it extremely boring too.
I have seen him live as well and while I recognize his talent and I can only hope to have his energy at that age, I still found it to be incredibly corny. I wonder if people like his concerts so much cause there's 189 people on stage playing an instrument and/or singing.
I am glad a lot of people enjoy the music though. I will, however, always have a lot of respect for "The Boss".

so true
I'm the same way...not that he isn't talented, but his style doesn't appeal to me.
In fact, I think Manfred Mann's version of "Blinded By The Light" is better by a landslide.
