My wife and I saw them at the Moore Theatre when we were in Seattle to see PJ in Sept. It was all seats of course but the crowd seemed fairly tamed....mind you I think the average age was atleast 35

I felt young and I'm 31. I think you should be ok.
Adolescence in essence is all about trust.
Leaving is for the answering machine.

The moshing scene for Old Grunge acts is as dead as Layne Staley ;)

    What venue are they playing?

General admission shows are precious entities... take the risk, gauge the danger before you're in too deep, and enjoy the rare opportunity of choosing how close you are to a band :D
Also, if they're offering both seats and standing zone, usually you won't have much trouble trading someone at the venue for seats.

Check out Radiohead general admission if you get the chance then... waited in line for four hours, and got one person away from the barrier, dead center... unbelievable experience.

I was 2nd row at ben gibbard, it was amazing, not as cool radiohead but he was like my hero when i was 14, closest ive ever been to a show, and it was at the showbox where theres no barriers
The shows on a schoolday and my school doesnt end till 3 but ill probably head down right after to wait in line for a good spot

Don't worry... that'll get you pretty damn close, I suspect.

I saw them 7 nights ago and it wasn't dangerous at all however the Hungarian crowds are wild and loud usually. SO, TRY TO GO AS CLOSE TO THE STAGE AS POSSIBLE!!!

I like your avatar, kid. One of the best triple wammies on an album ever: XO's Waltz No. 2, Baby Britain and Pitseleh.

I found Elliott's first ever 7" in a shop in Prague the other day: it has 2 songs not on any albums. T'was only about 5 euro. Got it for my mate who's a big fan.
    My Pearl Jam shows: 1 in 1995, 2 in 1998, 20 in 2003, 13 in 2006, 3 in 2007, 8 in 2008, 5 in 2009, 4 in 2010, 5 in 2012. EV: 8 in 2011, 1 in 2012. Brad: 1 in 1998, 1 in 2002.

That reminds me of when I saw Radiohead on the OK Computer tour at Wembley Arena (back in '96 arggh!), they had DJ Shadow supporting them, and he played from the mixing desk, so everybody gravitated there, meanwhile me and my mate casually walked up to the dead centre of the barrier!

Anyway, back to the main topic, when I saw AIC a few weeks ago in London, the pit looked pretty rowdy for some of the heavier songs, but I'm sure you could stand at the edges and be fine.
